We take a journey you and I
through lifetimes passing closely by
a fleeting glance... a look... a peek
not even knowing what we seek.
Our souls feel that there's something more
but don't know what they're searching for
through stormy waters hear them cry
lost, alone... they don't know why.
A feeling of being... not quite whole
not fitting in your chosen role
ships passing in the night... sail on
a chance to meet and now it's gone
Remembering... soul says... 'I see you'
connection, bliss... a dream come true
complete... in our anatomy
you are... the other half of me.
The beauty of lifes story is
it's all a game of hit and miss
love and laughter, tears and pain
we incarnate... to do it all again
